    AC DC: Bon Scott tribute


    Bon maybe gone
    but his songs live on

    February 25 2007 Perth Western Australia: a trbute concert was held in honor of the legendary singer Bon Scott, former front man for AC DC. The concert was held to help raise funds for a statue to be built in his honour in Fremantle. I myself had the honor of attending and it was a fantastic with veteran aussie rock bands Rose Tattoo,The Angels,Screaming Jets,etc belting out old ACDC tunes with Angus Young making an appearance at the end of the show.
    Interestingly, his gravesite in Fremantle cemetary is like a mecca for rock fans both young and old,from around the world (it's a favourite spot for alot of US sailors when the kittyhawk comes to town!).
    When i saw the smashing pumpkins play here a few years back i remember Billy Corgan yelling out " Is this where Bon Scott is buried!?"

    So if you are an ACDC fan post your favourite song or album here.

    All with Scott. But I have to say that Back in Black is their best album.

      I saw AC/DC at the Oakland Coliseum along with Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith. It was billed as the "Monsters of Rock". AC/DC took the show.

              I cant count that High lol. One sticks out in particular for Bon and thats Ride On.
              Or even with him would have been Problem Child
