The papaer examines how al-qaeda has evolved since fall of Afghanistan, its finances and how regional terrorist organizations are linked to al-qaeda. This is the part 1 of the project. I tried to make a synopsis of the paper, but due to sheer volume of data and details presented, I feel its essential to read the paper as it is.
