    Hey guys, new around here, so I hope this is the right section to post this topic. I recently acquired permission to display some photos from a private collection. The collection belongs to the family of Col. Harry E. Clarke, the chief defense counsel of General Tomoyuki Yamashita at the post-WW2 war crime trials. The photographs can be seen here:

    The following has been added to the link above, also from the Clarke family's private collection:

    1. Japanese occupation currency signed by Yamashita
    2. A hand-written note by Yamashita re. Harry E. Clarke
    3. Scan of letter to Secretary of War Patterson requesting clemency for Yamashita
    4. Scan of letter to President Truman requesting clemency for Yamashita
    5. 4-page scan of the request for Executive Clemency
