  • Favorite fictional warrior?

I enjoyed reading the greatest warrior thread so let's try this one just for entertainment value.

For the sake of argument let's try to draw a distinction between historical fiction and mythology. So think a little deeper than just saying Hercules or something.

My pick goes to Richard Sharpe of His Majesty's 95th Rifles. Second choice is Captain Woodrow F. Call of the Texas Rangers.

There has to be two: Jack Aubrey and Stephen Maturin

Is there anybody else? 007 - brains, brawns, women, toys, and a martini - shaken, not stirred.

Unteroffizier Steiner from Cross of Iron.

I would say Beowulf, but no mythological figures.

        Robin Hood.

Corporal "Killer" McCoy. Sharpe is one of my favorites.

In addition to 007, I would add Capt. James T. Kirk and Col. Jack O'Neill.
