It's been deleted now but it not-too-subtly accused WAB of being conservative-dominated and M21 in particular of disseminating false information.

I wouldn't count on that article remaining on Wikipedia for long.

There used to a WAB entry there but it was recently deleted for lack of relevence.
“He was the most prodigious personification of all human inferiorities. He was an utterly incapable, unadapted, irresponsible, psychopathic personality, full of empty, infantile fantasies, but cursed with the keen intuition of a rat or a guttersnipe. He represented the shadow, the inferior part of everybody’s personality, in an overwhelming degree, and this was another reason why they fell for him.”

We used to have a thread here that quoted the old entry. I can't find it now, is the thread gone?

I hope not, cause it was freakin hilarious, especially the part about snipe...

                    Heh...a difficult one.

Not many people walk away with a whole lot of assss left after they instigate me or challenge something that i'm strongly voicing an opinion on.

In those cases when i'm wrong...i admit it.

I also back the snot out of my arguments with expert types whenever possible, or i try and put out all the linked data.

Predictably, the people that challenge me and get asss stomped tend to hold a grudge sometimes.

                    Not my fault.

I remember what you're talking about and I don't believe that the tread was trashed.

Basically a disgruntled WABer (can't remember which idiot it was) went into the first Wikipedia article and vandalized it, claiming it (WAB) has a strong right-wing bias, led by M21Sniper and aided and abetted by the Moderators, whom he listed by name (this was also back before Julie stepped down).

I went in and restored the article to the previous Save and it was pretty much undisturbed until somebody nominated it for deletion due to lack of relevance.

Probably what will happena again sooner or later.

But what happened to the copy we had here? Damn, I should have saved it- it was a classic.

                          Dunno

I'm trying to do a search based on thread titles rather than content because Wikipedia is used so much for reference quotes.

                            I think it's gone.

I searched titles for WAB, WIKI, Wikipedia, Famous, and World Affairs Board.

                            Zip.

I'd tell ya to search my name, but you'd be better off looking in the library of congress.
