ROFL. It'll work great as long as your continents are within 300km....

i also heard about surya in the pakistani forum , but one thing which is not getting into my head is that few months back Indias agni-3 test was a failure so first they have to achive that feat then only we can think about surya

They would be, when fired from the sea.

Agni - III already has a range of 5,500 km its achieved full operational status. Agni - IV has range in excess of 5,500 km so they both are clearly categorised ICBMs by IISS standards.

There would be a lot of hurdles which an aircraft or a ship will face to come as close as 300km of the shore of the enemy's territory.SAM resistance and AC carrying anti-ship missile to neutralize the coming threads.so there are less chances to make Brahmos's role attacking.Brahmos could easily be used to defend the Indian territory.

As far as the question about the cruise missle that can it be used as an ICBM .I would say that if India can use a bullet as a cruise missile then yes they can use Brahmos as a cruise missile.
And if you say that the tech must be made which would allow a cruise missle to travel thousands of kilometers and should carry a heavy payload and the missile must be terrain hugging, then kid its impossible no missile with that much speed which an ICBM generates can go at that height.

Then it's not intercontinental, is it...

Talking about 'full operational status'? Why can't you be this mature when talking about the R-172?

By those standards, certainly not up to other real standards like the Minuteman, R-36, Trident II...
