Return of the Jedi was worse than Phantom Menace in my opinion.

ROTJ was great except for the stupid Ewoks.

Phantom menace sucked in ways that only George Lucas can make a movie suck...

ROTJ was the beginning of the decline with the damn ewoks, that's for sure. Menace was ok but no worse IMO. Now Episode II - ugh...it was so bad that I completely lost any interest in the series anymore. I thought all the criticism he got from Menace would have clued him in but he managed to make it even worse on the next one.

              Surely you jest. :)

Along those lines, Grease II is another sequel that could have never been made.

All the Amityvilles, too. Especially the one about the lamp.

Jaws three deserves to be on that list more than Jaws The Revenge.

                And I actually liked:

                7. The Fly II
                6. Weekend At Bernies II
                19. Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise
                23. Porky's II: The Next Day
                25. The Matrix Reloaded

I am going to agree with you on The Matrix - I liked them all, but the Fly II? Or even the Fly I for that matter.

                  LOL

I'll go to the mats with you on this one, Snipe. Even the basic FX of ROTJ were sub-par.

                      Jesus, where's the Sandlot II?

There's some movies you just don't need to bother making a sequel. It makes memories of the prequel, sour.

I dont care what anyone says, ROTJ was damned good entertainment, and i left the theater(yes, theater!) with a HUGE POOP EATING GRIN.

I dont care about special effects mistakes. I don't even care about special effects at all.

Yes, the Ewoks are stupid, i agree, granted.

Beyond that it was the perfect end to the perfect trilogy.

I am sorry that your sensibilities and tastes have denied you the same enjoyment i felt when the credits rolled on Ep VI the first time i saw it.

Ep I-III IMO sucked though, completely.

                            Highlander 2. Beat that!

Mortal Kombat 2. The original wasn't that good. But the sequal takes the phrase "bad B movie" to a whole new level.

I hated Matrix sequals. Reloaded felt like a 5 hour movie with many possibilities squeezed into 2 hours. Parts of it was like a porno. Neo sees some dude in a room. Gee, uh...I guess I have to fight you for no reason at all. Let's get it on!

Revolutions was like a 25min short film stretched to fill a 2 hour time slot. It had no purpose. It never pursued any of the incredible possibilities presented in Reloaded.

And someone please take the thesaurus away from the Wachowski brothers. They ran their script through the computer and replaced all the simple and easy to understand words with convuluted cliches and bad analogy with vocabulary from the SAT.

                            whew...end rant...

Ack! Highlander 2 was just wretched! You're right...that should be on this list for sure.
