If you ever end up finding this again, pass it on, I'd like to read it.

The Face of Battle has a very detailed account of the incident. King Henry heard the rumor that the French executed an attack against English camp in the rear, in reality it was just a small band of straglers trying to grab some loot before they run for it. Affraid that the vast number of prisoners may attempt to break lose, he ordered the yeomen to execute some prisnors, presumably to keep them in line. The absolute majority of French knights did survive.

Since we already have a "Samurai vs. Knight" thread, perhaps the new one can simply be 'rolled into' this existing one?

Gentlemen,

I am absolutely worried about the lack of the Elephant vs T-Rex, Loch Ness monster vs Moby Dick and Batman vs Spiderman.

Do these already exist or should we start new threads for each of them? If we add one more pair we could then have the 'first round winners' pair off again in a 'second round'.

That wholely depends on the skill of fighters. Knight would have advantage because he is normally bigger with heavier weapon and steel armor. However, against a skilled samurai swordsman who yields armor cutting sword, samurai would win. Knight usually is slower, despite his size and strength.

"Sigh"....Welcome to the WAB Dynasty1,why don't you pop over to the "Member Introductions" forum and post a thread so the good people of the board can get to know you. While you're there you might as well fill out your profile and tell us a little about yourself .(I'm starting to feel like the greeter at Wal-Mart )

The slow knight is a myth.

And there is no katana that is designed to cut thru metal armor. Perhaps an anachronistic made with 20th century technology and used by Wesley Snipes in a vampire movie.

But really though, why do old threads like Jesus and ressurect 'em? If you read the whole thread thru and thru, you'd be tired of the topic by the end.
