    Zraver and Astralis,

Familiar with International Workers of the World? That was a socialist international union that rivaled American Federation of Labor in numbers and influence until it was broken during WWI by a combined effort of AFL cooperating with the US gov't. One of the problems for communist organizations in the US is that steelworks and other type of mass industry using unskilled labor relied predominantly on new immigrants who could not organize effectively across language barriers or "poison" domestic labor. There were a lot of natural and artificial factors involved in the lack of a real powerful communist organization in the US but it was not all down to good luck.

    Tend to agree on this.
