Possibly. Hopefully. This would be all right with me, gets the heat off our backs. I'm not sure if we could ever be left behind like Britain has been, though. I think a lot of Britain's situation may have been inevitable. With a certain number of people and a certain amt of resources, there's only so much you can do. Even Japan can't really match us, and they've got almost as many people as we do. Unless we screw up, I think the US will be an economic powerhouse for a while yet, maybe not top dog, but a serious heavyweight.
