    Best military strategies

The best military strategies I say would would be the scorched earth tactic and the pincer. In scorched earth tactic you can severely demoralise an advancing army. It's almost impossible to defeat an attack from both sides in the pincer.

Sir, I'm afraid it's up to you and a handful of others to uphold the honor of Canada.

According to his profile, Great Lencucha will be turning 17 next month. Unless he attends a military academy he's not going to learn much about military strategies in an American High School of today.

I take his posting more as a question than a statement. I think he is asking us what military strategies we believe are the greatest. For example, do you think a great offense is better than a great defense? The Blitz Krieg goes for offense but the Battle of New Orleans proves defense.

He'd have to join the Canadian Forces.

I wonder if there is a military prep school around Calgary somewhere that we could enroll him in?

What have you got against Canada, man? Most of 'em are really nice people; no reason to go around punishing their army like that.

Please don't make fun of the Canadian army. I know him. He's a very nice guy.

Oh I have nothing at all against Canada....even if the newest members from the Great White North have been less-than-stellar lately....hence the need for the Colonel, ZF Boxcar and a few others to uphold the honor, um I meant honour, of Canada.

Based upon Canadian Army and Navy personnel I have personally known (one retired Canadian Army Captain was my science teacher in High School) you can make fun of them all you want.

That is if you don't mind having your nose pointing north, jaw pointing south and all your teeth inside your shirt.

You may not have the numbers in personnel and equipment us Yanks have, but I'm sure glad you're on our side.

For example, when Canadian Embassy staff smuggled Americans out of Teheran when the Shaw left, I displayed the Maple Leaf in my window for a month in thanks.

Our daughter's godfather thought it was interesting since he's from Quebec.

Come to think of it, beautiful Kristin Kreuk and Erica Durance who play Lana Lang and Lois Lane, respectively, on "Smallville" are both Canadians.

Hmmm, Lorne Greene (Pa Cartwright of "Bonanza"), William Shatner (Captain James T. Kirk of "Star Trek") Raymond Massey ("Abraham Lincoln) and Alex Trebek ("Jeapordy") were all Canadians.

Finally, my great grandmother Caroline Gordon was technically a Canadian. She was born there after the family immigrated from Ireland and they were waiting for the next back-trail guide to "wetback" them over into Wisconsin.

    Oh I know.

I love Canada. Canada gave us hockey. I like the Canadian anthem. I would like to retire there someday if all the socialists would leave.

A Canadian serviceman told me that joke. I thought it was hilarious. I apologize if it offended you
