I'm so sick of everyones problems being everyone else's fault. No one claims responsibility for anything of their own doing anymore.

My favorite example of this is the woman who blamed the school system in the UK for all three of her daughters (the oldest being 16 if I'm not mistaken) being sluts. All of them knocked up and proud of it with a baby on their hip. My god what cheek! Not that she should be complaining now with her three dependants with kids of their own she gets a bigger council house and more money on the dole. (welfare)

One wonders when it will ever get so ridiculous we start cutting people off for good and let them live outside.

As far as Ray's cross-post, I haven't seen the other thread yet, so I'll reply here.

I meant no condescencion. I know there are people on this forum who have seen and worked on and lived through things that I cannot even imagine.

I was merely stating my personal belief in the importance of martial law when social structures are completely broken down. I'm not saying it's fair. I'm not saying it's fun. I'm not saying it's easy. But I stand by my belief.

If I may, I think what one's are attempting to tell you Dale is you never turn your back on your fellow American, and most importantly, never kick him when he is down, whether he is black and/or white, a welfare recipient or not.

Have you ever attempted to save a person drowning? I have....they will drown you too if you don't have a plan when you get there to save them.

haha, i saw a clip of the looting on another forum, even the police were doing it. IT sort of reminds me after the war ended in IRAQ, and now we see, America who calls itself one of the most civilized nations in the world, is no diffrent. Good to see we are all human.

I don't see the relevance. My advocating the restoration or maintenance of order via harsh measures isn't turning my back. Is it?

Have you ever attempted to save a person drowning? I have....they will drown you too if you don't have a plan when you get there to save them.

My best friend is a (now well-recovering) heroin addict and has been since the moment I met him. I know plenty about saving people who are dangerous to themselves and others.

Like Bush said this morning, if you get food, water and medicine to them, it will calm the violence. I fully agree with this methodology.
