What? You mean the evil insurance companies care about worker safety?

Actually they don't. They care about the bottomline. It just happens that their bottomline is worker safety.

I don't think liberals understand that greed is good. Insurance companies care about worker safety due to greed. Safe workers (or anything) mean less payout.

Bad thing about government agencies is they don't have a profit motive. They don't care about anything other than to follow the rules to the letter. It makes life easier for bureaucrats. Less thinking involved while collecting high pay, lifetime pension, and cadillac health care.

Or the president could just issue an executive order, telling the agency to stop doing whatever it does. I'm sure liberals are all for that. Can't do it in the ballot box or the court house? Issue an executive order.

An inspector once let me pour footers without a footer inspection because he was late and I had concrete trucks standing by. But he knew me and knew I wouldn't have called in for an inspection if I wasn't ready. What is your source for that Oregon rule and what inspections does it cover? Seems crazy.
