Where did I bestow the righteousness of democrats? If you cared to rehash my posts over the years concerning democrats you would be embarrassed at the "disingenuous" remark.
ALL political parties? There is more than just democrats and republicans. Getting rid of those two parties really wouldn't be the end of the world. All I did was warn Roosy of the dangers of making the republicans look bad on the WAB.

Well pardon my ignorance but which particular people here are going to be hating roosie for his post? Jad? Dale? Myself? Those are the only conservatives I can think of who are currently posting on WAB.....

I believe my point is self evident. Between you and antimony the usual suspects have been covered. Kind of amazing how fast the names came up and I didn't have to name any of them. You answered at least part of your own question. I wouldn't include JAD though. He is keeping to the high road. Nor would I have included you but for some reason you are riding me on this thread. It's not a game and I had thought I had been perfectly obvious, nevertheless I will spell it out.
You've attributed a position to the few conservatives on this board that is simply not true. It is simply trolling and flame baiting. I have no intention of a pressing a report button and indulging in furious pm's in some sort of grand tally.
I simply expect to be treated with the same respect that I give, as I'm sure the others do as well.
So maybe you should consider acting as a grown up, in just the way we treat you, or bugger off and find a child board where such activity is de rigueur.

I miss the days when it was a bunch of us conservatives yelling at each other about HOW to be conservative "the right way" instead of the constant "explain to me why communism is bad first, before any discussion takes place about HOW commie this particular idea is".

There's the match that lighted the fire.

Two things in it appear demeaning: 1) That the conservatives or Republicans hereabouts only want to hear good things about their beliefs and 2) that they see themselves as champions of the fair maiden Guenivere, but, by implication, are not.

Now, personally, I thought it was kind of funny. For one thing, the crap RR posted would impress neither an informed liberal nor an informed conservative. They both know both sides harbor dirt. The real debate is over the present state of things and whether the country is heading in the right direction. We need to listen to anyone who can talk intelligently on the subject, if we care. The junk RR posted is basically junk we can shunt down the waste chute because it doesn't answer the mail. I guess that's what you mean by the high road. For me, it's the middle road. (And, also, moderators have to watch their Ps & Qs., don't they?)

One final thought. I've spent a lot of time in the last 3 years checking out viral emails about Obama, and I have no problem with exposing them when they're false. None of the conservatives hereabout to my knowledge knowingly pedal that kind of crap, although they can be somewhat salty in characterizing him, Pelosi and the rest.

No worries.

I'm kind of surprised the reaction is "who is conservative" rather than "throw the bums out"
