nice comic strips I did follow a few of them lfgcomic is good also. Hopefully the measure is defeated but thus far they come back with a new one reworked that is worse than the prior one to try to slip it by. Sad reality, hopefully the supporters of this crap go bankrupt faster, clinging to control that is rapidly slipping away.

Some of the comments on the US Embassy in Macedonia FB:

As a US citizen I have already signed petitions and called my legislatures to stop these two bills. I understand the entertainment industries concerns, but they are like any other business and should not get extra protection at the cost of the Bill of Rights. They have to decide if its worth the risk to put their work online & they do. Technology is amazing and I think there have to be more ways to make illegal downloading harder. I'm not sure they have tried everything, and they would rather just give the government the power. Well be careful what u wish for, because the leadership may decide one of their "products" need censored. The Bill of Rights is our ONLY guarentee at personal liberties. Everyone not living in he US can still contact the State dept to voice ur concern about these two bills! The discussion they should be having needs to be over prevention and not legislation.

its not that those of us against SOPA & PIPA aren't for protecting their "intellectual property." Its more about understanding that they are a Billion dollar industry that needs to invest in protecting themselves. Government interference is usually regrettable in the end, because they want more and more. This industry is no more valuable to America than ay other industry, they should not be allowed to invoke this big of change because they see profits dwindling. Shame on the leadership-they are put there for the people by the people.
