Rep. Maxine Waters: ‘The tea party can go straight to hell’
By Chris Moody | The Ticket – 3 hrs ago
    Rep. Maxine Waters:
California Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters, who had some tough words for the leaders of her own party last week, took aim at the other side on Saturday, saying that the tea party could "go straight to hell."

"I'm not afraid of anybody," Waters said at a weekend community meeting in Inglewood, California. "This is a tough game. You can't be intimidated. You can't be frightened. And as far as I'm concerned, the tea party can go straight to hell."

Waters' comments begin at 1:55 in the video from the ABC News affiliate in Los Angeles, KABC:

At a job fair in Detroit last week, the 11-term congresswoman said that black members of Congress were growing "tired" of defending President Barack Obama in the face of high unemployment rates.

"We do not put pressure on the president because y'all love the president," Waters said. "You are very proud to have a black man as president for the very first time in the history of the United States of America. ... The Congressional Black Caucus loves the president, too. We're supportive of the president, but we're getting tired. We're getting tired. The unemployment is unconscionable. We don't know what the strategy is."

A lot of Americans think they can go to hell the only group less popular in polling is the congress they helped elect

Eh, everyone thinks they know the way the silent majority of Americans are leaning (and it usually is, just coincidentally, the same way they themselves lean). We'll see next November who's right; pretty useless to speculate until then unless you have numbers.

You mean like how every single union protest likens the reformer (Scott Walker being one) to Hasni Mubarak or the austerity movement to Syrian crackdown?

Maxine Waters is nothing but a race pedaler and a corrupt politician. She secured loan from the Obama (her homie) government to bail out a local bank in her district, which just happened to be controled by her husband, so they stand to personally gain from government bailout.

I'm only talking randomized polling today. the only poll that really matters is next year as you said. The thing is I would bet more than a few tea party types have had choicer words about her. I'm a left of center moderate and I have.

    Speaking of Maxine....

Did she ever find proof that the CIA was introducing AIDS and cocaine to South Central back in the eighties to "to keep the black race down" ?

Hahahahahaha...It's a good thing our elected officials aren't made to take IQ tests to qualify for service in government. There would be a lot of empty seats on Capitol Hill.

I think once in a while she makes sense but too often like Bachmann she says stark raving mad shit. She is not anyone I would vote for

first I would say autocrat better describes Walker than reformer since he engaged in no negotitation. I agree they went way overboard in the rhetoric. I mean the first thing he does is something he didnt even mention???then insists on ending union rights and doesnt include historically republican unions even after he got concessions.

Also every freaking bank that wanted a loan got a loan unless they were underwater 100 times over. I have to say calling Obama her homie seems like race baiting as was Omon's comment about her crazy ass anti white conspiracies reflecting the people who elected her. Can you show me an example of the use of the word to describe a relationship with two whites that you have used? is that kind of bs any better than her bullshit?
