You would need an extensive Google Search to even understand that any of these terms are "strange". I think the key is to maintain ones innocence (by denying oneself knowledge of the "other meaning", in the face of in surmountable odds (like Gunnut bringing them up)

Tea-bagger should be ok because it was used by the POTUS in public and recorded by multiple media sources.

I've seen a couple democrat congresscritters use it on the floor of the House too.

I think you're right. If The Obama can use it, surely it's benign. He's all about calling for serious debate.

Why just the other day he said we needed an adult conversation on immigration reform. Then in the next breath he accused republicans of wanting a moat with alligators on the Mexican border.

I mean, how serious can you get?

I actually liked the moat with alligator joke. I think it's a pretty good idea too. It's less dangerous than landmines and the Mexicans would get PETA on their ass if they harm the alligators.

Think about it......a moat with gators.....wouldn't it be alot less expensive than a fence?

And we wouldn't even have to feed the gators....

seriously though, I have no need for a derogatory term for liberals.

I think the term "liberal" is derogatory enough.

I am gonna use that word to describe Trump supporters. As for Butt pirates, doesn't jive. Doesn't have that panache like the term, "tea bagger" does.

    Trump-rangers?

Do we have a name for the Ron Paul supporters? Or do we just use "nuts?"

So several years ago I said something about LCA, and you call that demonizing Obama and the democrats?

Link the post. Nothing I said I can't back up.

You want to talk LCA? Lol. I'll piss off every Indian on the board. When it comes to aerospace, I live in the real world. Ask Colonel Yu if the predictions I made in private are coming true.

Well, that's why I asked if the Nuge had been to Bush's WH and honored as a poet/artist? I dunno if he has, but Common has. I'm ignorant of Nugent's comments but I can imagine them.

And that's part and parcel of how the tea partiers have been portrayed in the MSM from the beginning.

They'll send a reporter out to a rally, he finds the fringiest character there, and that person becomes the representative of the group. The reporter will usually try to steer the interview over to Waco or The OK City bombing so he can get a juicy quote. It's about creating linkages in the public perception that don't really exist.

The other 99.999% of tea partiers are ignored, because they're just regular people. Can't portray them as wackos.

Unless you've actually been to the events, you wouldn't know that. You accept the version presented to you, because that's the version you want to believe.

I personally believe the New Black Panther party represents all black people; everyone in San Francisco is a homosexual; and everyone who disagrees with The Obama is a whacko.
