It may look a lot like that. Would you consider that a landslide?

No, these are electoral landslides. I think a popular vote landslide can generally be considered to be a margin of victory of 15% or greater.

I meant for it to be blue, but realized I'd forgotten.

Predict the results of the election

Electoral College: Obama 364 McCain 174
National Popular vote Obama 52% McCain 46% Other 2%

That's my opinion what do you think the results will be?

I predict Electoral College about where you put it but I predict the popular vote to be much much closer.

They say this will be the largest voter turnout in American history

One can't go by the polls.

    The Bradley Effect!

However, going by the lines of voters as shown on the TV, there will be a massive turnout.

What is the rule position if all the voters can't vote by the closing time?

Whoever is actually on the line at 10pm (some states only until 9pm) will be allowed to vote regardless of if its 10 people or 1,000 people. Voting locations are open from 6am to 10pm (or 9pm).

I predict a squeaker for McCain nationally.

Locally, I predict Norm Coleman will beat Al Franken handily, but Michelle Bachmann will lose her seat to Tinklinberg narrowly.

The polls may be overstating Obama's strength, I can't imagine he will win AZ with McCain on the ballot, but AZ is now considered in play. But McCain still has to win OH, FL, and PA to win the election, I don't think he can do it. McCain wins between 150-230 electoral votes; Obama still wins handily.

Well Chris is half-right, in some elections some judges order the polls to stay open longer, regardless if there is a line or not. It depends on the state, and that state's election laws.

I think this will be correct except for possibly North Carolina, Indiana and Missouri.
