    Intolerance From The Left

Since John McCain selected Sarah Palin as his VP pick her family has come under attack, her religious beliefs have been under attack, and even her sanity has been questioned.

Every day a new celebrity or politicial figure that supports Obama makes their opinion of the Gov. of Alaska known.

    The latest is Lindsey Lohan.

She said, "I find it quite interesting that a woman who now is running to be second in command of the United States, only 4 years ago had aspirations to be a television anchor, which is probably all she is qualified to be.

Lohan -- who is rumored to be in a relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson -- also referenced Palin's views on homosexuality.

"Is it a sin to be gay?" Lohan asked. "Should it be a sin to be straight? Or to use birth control? Or to have sex before marriage? Or even to have a child out of wedlock?

"Is our country so divided that the Republicans best hope is a narrow minded, media obsessed homophobe?"

In conclusion, Lohan cited an Associated Press story reporting that Palin's church advocates a conference about prayer curing homosexuality. Wrote Lohan: "Palin's Desire to "save and convert the gays" - really??"

    Ronson also chimed in.

"Vote for obama!" Ronson wrote. "Mainly because if she gets elected my green card probably won't get renewed!!!"

Lindsay Lohan Lashes Out at Sarah Palin | Showbiz Spy

FIRST Matt Damon, now Pamela Anderson has spoken out against Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin saying:"I can't stand her. She can suck it!"

Anderson, 41, was recently in Toronto speaking out against the abuse of animals in Hollywood.

When asked by E! News Weekend Canada about Palin, she has some choice words for the Republican hopeful.

The reporter asked Pam if she saw a recent Newsweek article, which showed a gigantic bear hide in the office of Palin’s house.

“I can’t stand her,” Pam blurted out. “She can suck it!”

Damon earlier lashed out at Palin - insisting her presidency would be like 'a really bad Disney movie'. The actor fears that Palin's running mate John MCCain won't survive a full four-year-term as president, and claims the Alaskan governor taking over would be 'a really scary thing.'

"I think there's a really good chance Sarah Palin could become president, and I think that's a really scary thing," Fox quoted Damon, as saying.

    Sarah Palin in a bikini!

"It's like a really bad Disney movie. The hockey mom, you know, ''Oh, I'm just a hockey mom''... and she's facing down (Russian) President Putin... It's totally absurd... It's a really terrifying possibility," he added.

Pamela Anderson tells Sarah Palin to suck it | The Daily Telegraph
"In the internet age, there are going to be lies that are spread all over the place. I have been victimized by these lies. Fortunately, the American people are, I think, smarter than folks give them credit for."
    — Barack Obama, MSNBC Debate, January 15, 2008
Looks like Obama isn't above spreading lies about somebody else.

The left wants to show compassion for the poor, woman, minorities, children, and the handicapped, unless they vote Republican. Then all bets are off.

The Obama campaign has an ad out making fun of the fact that McCain doesn't use email. This to Obama means he's out of touch with Americans. Forget that McCain has a problem with repetitive motion in his hands, an after-effect from 5 and a half years as a POW in the Hanoi Hilton.

I'm sorry, but has the American election been dumbed down so severely that it now matters what celebrities think about the candidates? Is anyone actually interested in the political views and proposed policies?

On which grounds do you vote (multiple answers possible)?
Based on policy; I think MCCain/Obama proposed good policies.
Normative; my values and morals apply to republican/democratic.
Based on candidate; MCCain/Obama is a nice guy.

Awesome! I've seen Lindsay Lohan's cheeseburger flapping in the breeze more times than I've seen Obama answer tough questions, and she's critiquing a Governor with an 80%+ approval rating from her constituency.

But they must be stupid if they believe in something that's different than Lohan's belief. Isn't that the definition of "stupid" of the left? Someone who doesn't believe in what we believe.

So true. You'd hope that the opinion of a drug-slurping party harpie would be laughed off though.

    Sara rocks!

I swear Hollywood has become nothing more then unattached spoiled children that have more "issues" (DUI's,Drugs,Anger management, divorces time and again, stupid political outakes you name it the list goes on) then the poor many in the street. Our filmaking industry has certainly let us down with the like of these loosers and others like them.

HINT: Stay the **** out of politics and do you dam jobs and bring us quality pictures for once instead of your mouth and personal problems! Geesh Charlton Heston must be rolling in his grave!

Ehhh it's intolerace to wonder why someone else is intolerent?

The other two were somewhat out of line but Lohan's just telling the truth.

I'm tired of being preached to about tolerance. Absolute tolerance is for people with no moral keel. F*ck tolerance.

The more tolerant someone is, the more intolerant he is of intolerance.

    Is he really tolerant?

There's nothing wrong with being a homosexual - and in my view, someone who feels that the way someone was born is wrong, is intolerent.

Simple really, and on this issue Palin is intolerent.

Absolute tolerence is a danger, but righties often make this ******** fantasy about 'PCness' up to confuse the issues at hand, it happens in Ireland and based on this it happens in the US as well, most lefties don't want totalitarian levels of tolerence for a religion of hate, drugs, prostitution or whatever...that's not on the agenda.

But please, love your fellow man, even if he loves other men .

Why is he neccissarily more intolerent of intolerence?

I don't mind if you're intolerent, I just think you're wrong - I'm quite tolerent of intolerence, it's a certain view and if you hold it, fine.

    It doesn't make you right.

I don't mind intolerance, but intolerance for gays is irrational. I hate irrationality in policymaking.

By definition, more tolerance means the opposite of more intolerance.

That's is true. However I believe the American left have forgotten about this.

It is ok to disagree. It is ok to think the other side is wrong. But it doesn't mean you have to hate them or belittle them.

I am amazed that people are questioning Sarah Palin's "lightweight credentials" and are surprised that someone with "so little experience" can show up on the Republican ticket as Vice president, meanwhile their superstar Obama has been a senator for not even 4 years and aspires to be Commander and Chief!
