    New Republican Poll 1/13

It's been six weeks since the last time WAB members were polled on the Republican candidates. Looking ahead from the Iowa and New Hampshire primaries to Michigan and beyond, which Republican candidate do you wish to see win the Republican nomination?

You have Tom Tancredo- a man who dropped out, but not Ron Paul?

    Add Ron Paul's name in.

Still for McCain, with Huckabee and Thompson as 2nd & 3rd choices respectively.

The 2 people I really agree with were out of the running before the new year, Tancredo and Hunter.

Hunter might still be in but he's not gonna be there for long.

At the moment McCain would get my vote. I first liked Romney but the more I see of him the more I'm convinced the man would say anything to get elected.

Thompson or Huckabee for me, I think it's important for the party to hold on to the core conservative principles, lost ground can be hard to recover.

Still a Romney guy. Would love to see Thompson too, would be fine with Rudy. I can't stand McCain or Huck.

    Fred Thompson

Change ! The people scream. I'll give you Change. All the canidates scream. Like clock-work they deceive. The puppies gather around Barack and slurp it up like spilled milk. The old sheep baa, baa around Hilary. The academic Republican makes concessions to shoot for electability. Not one of these actions will get you change for it is more of the same. Off to school your children will go to see if they might be gay before they even enter puberty!

    I chose McCain.

I'd be fine with any Republican but Ron Paul.

I personally can't support any of the Democrats.

Ideally though, I'd like to see a good center-right independent.

Yet again, Ron Paul has beaten a top tier candidate in a primary (this time two of them). Why is Duncan Hunter on this list and not Ron Paul? I am not a spammer (though my post count is low because I do not frequent this board) and I want my voice to be heard. Add his name please.

Also, dalem, how can you vote for Romney? He is so fake in everything he says. Too slick, too suspicious.
