So what you're saying is that the gas explosion theory was a cover up for a SAM launch?

I had heard this before, and to tell the truth sounds more likely to me (not having seen anything and relying only on reports) than a gas tank explosion.

No one went with FDR huh? He brought immeasurable psychological relief to millions, was ahead of the curve on addressing the totalitarian threat, and forged the alliance with the UK and Soviet Union that won the war.

I'd have to go with him or Lincoln.

As to Clinton. He will become our day's Harry Truman; reviled and then vindicated. He will ultimately get recognition for successfully working with the opposition to pass legislation. Wheter or not you agree with NAFTA or the WTO, he was successful in drafting bipartisan concensus in a way no other modern president has.

So did FDR and a lot of other Presidents... Billy boy just wasn't good enough to not get caught in a big tado about it. I really couldn't care less bout the affair itself, its the lying before a grand jury (which would have seen a normal person in jail) that irritates me.

Another thing Clinton did that pissed me off was to turn his back when the Veterans from the 1st Cav Div (Vietnam) marched past the reviewing stand at his second inaguration.

I don't think he did it on purpose so one tapped him on the shoulder and he turned all the way around for the duration of the 1st Cavs walk by. He did not once turn around to acknowledge them.

By the way Chris, Ross, i need you guys to stick this Picture in your signature blocks.
