I don't know... I have voted in every national election I have been able, and voted for candidates who have shared many of my values and opinions. What happens when my only options are scary and scarier... and I can't work out which is which?!

    Write in Fred Thompson.

Yeah, I suppose that would be an option.

Fortunately, this isn't something I have to worry about in this election.

The Reverend Jones went to his grave with the recipe. But they will have the consolation of knowing they won the one WAB poll Paul was admitted to.

Paul, for primarily economic reasons. His war stance was not my cup of tea, but the war now is a complete non-issue. Obama, Clinton, McCain, Romney, Giuliani were all going to continue Iraq just like it is being done now: saying we're "surging" while quietly withdrawing troops by having deployments run out and when the troops leave to come home, they are not being replaced; and then have the violence die down by making deals with the militias that were shooting at us. Not sure why liberals and conservatives are incapable of grasping that point (maybe cause both sides would have to admit they're wrong).

I liked McCain in 2000, so I'll probably vote for him now. I was getting to like Romney somewhat, then he told me that anyone voting for the Democrat in November wants the terrorists to win and my respect for him went out the window. I abhored Giuliani.

Huckabee's campaign I find mildly amusing cause Bush won on the backs of Huckabee's constituency in 2000 and 2004 and now they putting up their own credible candidate who is a bona fide populist, and all the Republicans are running around saying, "we can't let these people win!" Uh...you were the idiots that gave them power and a seat at the table by prioritizing social values over the job of government.

I'm not exactly sure what the heck Thompson was doing. Tancredo was the run-of-the-mill nationalist.

His campaign will go down as one of the most curious in election annals. I thought he would have been a great candidate not only because of his commanding presense, but because of his idiology of constitutional integrity and sharp grasp of the issues. But he mumbled his way thru the primaries and behaved like a gentleman stateman not willing to get his hands dirty politicking. Let the electorate to draft me if they want me seemed to be his attitude.

In theory an admirable idea. In practise a little more energy would be essentially to win in November... and to be president afterwards.

Yeah, I read somewhere basically saying he was running a 19th century style campaign in the 21st century. Hard to argue.
