Be my guest, it wouldn't be the first time the terms have been used, and I'm sure I could use more disparaging remarks for Americans in general but why bother and respond to your trolling?

I'm not going anywhere so your current racist based remarks in the forums show your intelegence level, andthey won't make me leave these forums. Your just going to have to live with it.

Given the fact that we have languished under a Liberal Govt. for 8 years and can look forward to another 4, "Soviet Republic of Kanuckistan" seems fitting! We haven't had a credible opposition party for some time now, but our last election seems to have turned that arround. I'm looking forward to elect the Progressive Conservative's in next time.

My pleasure, li'l Lady. Though I'm no knight in shining armor, I'm definitely the cavalry that arrives in the nick of time, happy to aid a damsel in distress and keep her warm and safe under a starry, moon-lit sky.

And even THAT is just a Hollywood fabrication, but at least they'd have the RIGHT fabrication!

Cowboy's are NOT SOUTHERN (ie, southeast)! They are SOUTH (Texas) up through the midwest towards the Great Lakes, and expanding along the southwest through Arizona up through Utah!

It's enough to make a man want to take his six-shooter, make use of it to end the nattering, and ride off into the sunset.

Come, come Horrido. You should not be so perfunctory.

Even before the TV or the VCR, VCD or DVD, there were stuff called COMIC BOOKS and BOOKS. Those were the 'vehicles' of knowledge in my time.
Edgar Allen Poe, Classics like the Last of the Mohicans and books of that type, the American War of Independence, Uncle Tom's Cabin, Huckleberry Finn, Tom Sawyer, stories of the Pioneers, the Gold Rush, the Mormons etc etc brought us (dumb Asians) up to date with the western world, apart from European History, Dickens, Tale of two Cities, the French Revolution, the Scarlet Pimpernel, the Austro Hungarian Empire, Baron Munchausen etc kept us upto date.

We had time those days. No idiot box to make us idiots.

Maverick (Have Gun, Will Travel), Gunslinger, Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, Lone Ranger, Chuckawagon Charlie's Tales, Annie Oakley, Gene Autry etc etc from the comic books.

    Zane Gray books.

Then there were the movies. Remember John Wayne? Forget Clint Eastwood. He is too recent.

Read enough about the rustling up the herd and then heading North to the beef factories. Read enough about Rodeos.

Therefore, we are not that dumb as you may like to make us out! Christ, education did reach those dark natives in their loin cloth scampering in the forest and eating weed and berries like monkeys!!!!!

We also know about Superman and Batman and all the Heros who want to make the world safe that even the modern day Heroes want to emulate!

We also know that James Fenimore Cooper claimed that Yankee resulted from a fractured attempt by the Indians to pronounce the word "English."

Yet, H.L. Mencken, the well-known newsman-scholar argued that Yankee derives from the expression Jan Kaas, literally "John Cheese." This supposedly was a derogatory nickname bestowed on the Dutch by the Germans and the Flemish in the 1600s.

The English later applied the term to Dutch pirates, and later still Dutch settlers in New York applied it to English settlers in Connecticut, who were known for their piratical trading practices. During the French and Indian War the British general James Wolfe took to referring derisively to the native New Englanders in his army as Yankees, and the term was widely popularized during the Revolutionary War by the song "Yankee Doodle." By the war's end, of course, the colonists had perversely adopted the term as their own. Southerners used Yankee pejoratively to describe Northerners during the Civil War, but found themselves, along with all other Americans, called thus by the English during world wars I and II.

Yet, quite a few of you (and a quite a majority) don't know about anything beyond your shores!

But since the Americans know EVERYTHING, I bow to the Great White Father!

We are DUMB and you are the BESTEST and the most EDUCATEDEST!

    Hiyo, Silver away!

    (Rides into the sunset!
under the instruction of the Film Director Horrido )

And the idiots still manage to lack good judgment and common sense.
    Why?

Because they have a variance in thoughts with the 'hicks' and 'hillybillies'? Please note: I have learnt that these are words of 'endearment' which I mistook as 'deregatory'.

    Osama is an idiot.

He has no 10 gallon hat.

He has a dirty turban, that would come useful when one has to lynch that PIG.
