I don't understand...California legislature, dominated by liberals, just gave themselves a pay raise.

The smaller the government, the less it deals with for the simple fact that it doesn't have the manpower to deal with a lot of stuff, therefore, less waste and less taxes.

I wished Bush had disbanded FEMA due to the agency's incompetance. Imagine the money it could have saved. What does FEMA do? What did FEMA do?

Pisses a lot of people off. I agree, let's axe it AND its appropriations, not just funnel them somewhere else.

Let the states keep money and manage their own disasters.

FEMA was fine until Bush mucked with it.

Compared to now....pretty much. My materials for my business were 40% cheaper, and my gas costs didn't eat up my profits.

On the other hand, gun rights have not been eroded on the federal level any further since Bush took office. For that, I have Bush to thank.

How about if we boost minimum wage to $150/hr to cover for your rising cost?

If a politician has any sense, he will not mess with gun rights to keep the foothold in the south. I've never claimed Bush was 100% ignorant....just slightly retarded.

Funny you should say that. That's exactly the amount I tack onto each job quote for gas expenses.

When did Bush make China and India grow, and did he order Hurricane Katrina to hit our refinery capacity as well as create stringent refinery standards over two decades ago to discourage any increase in refinery capacity? Wake up!

What did Bush do to cause any of that? Real stuff too, not conspiracy theory.

Also, I just charge appropriately for my fuel and material expenses, causing the cost to go up, creating a higher profit from the exact same profit margin...
