Cyclorama coming down - Evening Sun

The old Cyclorama Building at Gettysburg NBP has been torn down. It moved to the new visitor center. It was always a great place to bring a Scout troop. The old Visitor Center next door was pulled downa awhile back. And the old Electric Map is no more.

A little melancholy about seeing this. I am glad they are clearing of that part of the key ground but it is still like using an old friend.

I think my first time there was as an 8th Grader. Been back a bunch of times since.

Oh, and I believe the new Visitors Center is pretty good but I don't think its worth the the steep price.
