ehhhh, i play on normal unit scale. 240 men? i gotta try that sometime. soooo

i never play campaign to much anymore, after beating all the interesting ones (bruttii, greeks, carthage and seluecids), but it would be fun if you could somehow set up away to play campaign online. but id imagine youd be waiting forever for your opponents to make their moves...

so i just play online battles, where you can just hand pick your units. im usually rome or carthage. a line of about 6 first legionary cohorts, packed close, no more than 5 men deep..
backed up by a few urban cohorts with triarii at the flanks, backed with some archers and preatorian calvavry. if you withdrawl from the center slowly, you can surround most phalanx formations

im no good at dealing with chariots or skirmisher cavalry... ill figure it out eventually. all i can figure is fight fire with fire, load up on artillery..

any advice dealing with that using romans?

my second favourite has to be the seleucids.. very versatile
