Well, I've seen the cockpit photos from a 767. I suppose you could say "many gauges" but not compared to any major AC in service in 1973. The overhead has quite a few controls, but the dash-panel, well, I've got more gauges than that in my Jeep. (Granted, I've got about every gauge known to man in my Jeep!)
I was visited by aliens once, also. They told me a gaint floating ship with a bent cross on the tail was going to explode in New Jersey and people would die. I said the whole thing was a lot of hot air, but they told me if it had been hot air there wouldn't be a problem... Hey, if pieces of the future exist now, theh I can just as easily predict the past!
