I'll take your word for it, because you have FAR more experience then I in the matter.
So what we did was take the German design and then simplified it, so it can be more reliable or something?

The Armour on the Leo2A6 and the M1A2 are a lot thicker and are a lot less seseptiple to penetration compared to the Type-90. That is the point I was trying to make. I was not saying they have the same concept in armour protection.
But I would like to know what are the different concepts?
