No. They and Italy are collaborately building Horizon class AAW ships with the new EMPAR radar.

Spain built F-100 AAW Frigates with AEGIS. While Germany and The Netherlands built similar ships(all have major differences) with the new APAR radar.

The UK is building AAW ships with the new Sampson radar.

The UK, French and Italian radars are rotators while the US, Spain, Germany and Netherlands have fixed arrays. APAR is an active system meaning it does illumination. The AEGIS system uses separate illuminators. The UK, French and Italian radars dont have illumination incorporated because the ASTER missle doesnt need it. They and the APAR do apparently need a separate volume/early-warning radar. AEGIS does not.
