Ray put it well, people have this notion of "honour", they kill thier loved ones over it.
Like this Jordanian you mentioned, who's 14 year old sister was raped, he killed her in the name of honour?!
I'll tell you where the honour lied....in killing her rapist.
Societies which participate in this are backward and evil, simple as.
