And just what threat is the USN preparing for? LOL China is the only threat and is taken extremely seriously. I say this of course as Russia while maybe not an ally is certainly far from a belligerent . Rhetoric from hard-liners on either side notwithstanding.
They are now in the BUSINESS of trying to sell their stuff just like the US. Youll notice they are loath to sell their primo stuff just like the US.
And if the US and Russia ever become allies like they should be that will be quite scary to the rest of the world. Many(if not the majority of pieces) are in place for just such a scenario.
Japan sees it and that should be evidence enough.
