Tarek, I can understand what you are saying. We closed our air space and if one of the "fly boys" (around here can give me a hand) I belive that we had Nato planes patrolling the U.S. at that time and if not mistaken germany did help support.
One difference though, We were attacked by terrorist at the controls of jets. These people were hit with waves and waves of ocean, enough to give the surrounding lands 12' of tidal surge.
