But tanks are also a prime target. An enemy with an RPG on his shoulder would rather aim at a tank than a Hummvee or a deuce-and-a-half full of MRE's.

Any idea how a good ol' jammer activated at the right time can cut off the signals of your tanks, just when they're attacking a vital stronghold?
Also, how susceptible is this system to EMPs? (I know that no one would dare use an X-Ray flux EMP, but still...)
