The Chinese are attacking Carrefour because it's French.
During the Tibet protests, the Tibetans attacked Chinese simply because they were Chinese. When asked, people responded "because of a build-up of frustration after years and years of CCP's so-called cultural genocide".
Well, now the Chinese are attacking foreigners simply because they're foreigners, for more or less the same reason as above.
