Obama and Hillary have both run very traditional campaigns that limit access to the candidate as much as possible.
McCain is running a very unconventional compaign and will continue to do so, with the goal of maximizing access. One of the things I like about him is that he actually is doing things differently instead of the same old thing under a message of "change" and "hope."
