Ying,

It was kind of you thank the Indians.

However, we are sorry for ourselves since we are also looking like a police state.

The 3.5 km route was guarded by 20,000 paramilitary and police. That is a huge security per square inch.

In fact it was much higher than what is deployed for the Republic Parade over a 20 km route where VIPs and Presidents of other countries are also present - and all for a stupid torch that has lost its value!!

India may have ensured that there was no incident, but instead of the Torch being a Flame of Unity, it became a Flame of State Power!!

Govt offices even though they are 2 kms away was locked so that none could get in or out from 1 PM to 6 PM. Windows were sealed and the whole route had no one but the Torch, the runners and the Security!

Who were they running for?

A vacant Delhi?

What did they achieve?

The Tibetans who protested were nowhere near the route.

In fact, there were No Indians even near the route!!

It was like a graveyard at midnight!

Empty and Stark!

A small correction - India does not have 200 nations.

The Union of India and its members states are not a product of ancient annexations either!!

You should not get surprised about the Indian media or what the Indians do - as I have said earlier, we do NOT hate the Chinese. We have great respect for them. What we do not like is the CCP reprehensible repression!

Apples and Oranges!!
