This reminds me of the time my little brothers rabbit died. I was house sitting while my parents were on vacation and the ungrateful little rodent kicked the bucket the day before they came home. I spent most of that afternoon at various pet shops and the SPCA looking for a black miniature Dutch bunny with white ears and feet. The closest one I found was an all white one with black ears and feet. A negative if you will. I left the impostor in the house and went to work.
They called me when they got home, telling me all the pets seemed to glad they were home. It was eight hours before they called wanting to know what happened to the bunny.

The dog and I are both chipped. My wife says that way someone will return me.
