We in the South have a different take on the term "Yankee." Four years of war. Burning our towns, 24 years of occupation and all that. But that's way in the past and we just joke about it now.
I hope you saw in your two visits over here how highly we regard our Irish cousins.
But in all seriousness, it has been interesting to compare our different ways of selecting one good-for-nothing liar for government office over another. |
