In my first post I have to respectfully disagree with you completely on two of your points. Life works best when balanced, free press simply means that press are given the rights to manipulate the masses, twist events with carefully picked words and write from one perspective only. Better IMHO to have a mix of state and free press.
Free trade? You mean nations with high civil liberties such as New Zealand and America having there companies compete with slave labour nations such as Phillipines and China? Better to have a tiered system of Free trade. One where such agreements can exist between NZ, Britain Canada, America and Australia while China is restricted to Phillipines etc. Free trade put cheap goods on the tables of westerners but at what cost?
