The snowiest national capital city in the world, is nearing a 37 year record. In 1971 Ottawa received 444cm (174.8in), to date Ottawa now received around 420cm of snow. And with 20% of the annual snow falling in March, more is on the way..

This has been a real Canadian winter, not those skimpy pathetic winters we have had the past number of years. However, apparently.. people seem to forget what a real winter is like in Canada..and this winter is scaring the crap out'a the greenies...who are blaming..yup you guessed it..Global Warming on this winter!

Normally, Eastern and Central Canada receives winters gift of crappy weather from the Gulf of Mexico, systems form and track NE through the states than wallop Canada as Winter Storms.

This year, apparently global warming is creating more of these systems in the south, which means more snow in NE Canada. Funny thing though..is that although Ottawa is the snowiest National Capital in the world, it is just another snowy city in Canada.. so while Ottawa is breaking records, other places like Quebec, BC, Manitoba, and the Maratimes are getting there fare share of winters misery, that would make any Ontarian shriek in horror!!

And what about that 1971 winter...if it was so bad, than surely Global Warming must have been around then...but NO!! back then it was Global Cooling that all the cappuccino suckers in the cities were fearing..

So apparently...skimpy winters means global warming, and Heavy winters also means Global warming!! so um...if I tripped over my untied shoelace I surely must be able to blame it on global warming also!!
