You mean "which no other nation can't catch up with" don't you?

I do think it's a miracle because in hindsight I never expected the CCP to adopt such aggressive pro-market economy reforms as the years went by.

You know, for all the crap that's written about China and its lack of human rights many people (particularly in the West) constantly overlook the fact that in the last two decades this economic growth has lifted HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of Chinese out of poverty. That is a stunning achievement. Now I’m not denying that the Chinese government is an authoritarian dictatorship (e.g. witness the forced relocation of millions of people in the recent years to make way for new infrastructure) but you’ve got to look at it more objectively.

Anyway, I do think India will catch up with China but not for a long time. China has a 13-year head-start as you correctly pointed out!

I think India has better economic policies in place & they’re more integrated with the West, but they lag badly compared with China in infrastructure development and long-term planning.
