Between the rampant and all-pervasive counterfeiting (and/or faking, which is potentially
deadly when you're talking about microchips and not merely knock-off shoes or purses) and the surge in genuine innovation, China will most definitely catapult itself ahead of it's Asian neighbors and the West.

I do find it hilarious that the PRC is registering all of these patents.
When in fact the concept and the word itself have ZERO meaning to...well, pretty much everybody in the country, from the top on down.
