Exactly, G. They are as blood-soaked as their old patron, and they deserve the same thing.

But Herodotus believes he knows something about it. He doesn't. Whether the relatives of Saddam were involved in crimes (they were, and this is not disputed by ANYbody even passingly familiar with the subject) is NOT moot AT ALL, but of the first importance and VERY relevant.

And Shiites do NOT have the power because we granted it to them. They VOTED and ORGANIZED for it, and if anybody bothered to pay any attention, they'd see that, even though the Sunnis screwed up and followed some really bad advice from their old leaders and sat out the elections, the Shiites actually gave the Sunnis a MUCH better deal than they ever earned, which speaks to the state of reconciliation and rapproachment that I bet ole Herodotus won't acknowledge.

And to revel in JUSTICE - which is what I'm talking about here - is not sickening, so much as it is uplifting. Kids? Nah, leave 'em be. But Saddam's crew of thugs and murderers gettin' scwhacked? I'm all for it, and I'd help do it, and feel like I'd done a good days' work, too.
