This is how my unit in Germany used to "make coffee."
Every Monday morning, my S-3 NCO would just dump out the small amount of "fluid" remaining in our 30-cup "distiller"--read: "percolator." No washing required. Then he'd fill it back up with water, add grounds & brew. Tuesdays, he'd merely add enough water to fill it back up (not dumping out the coffee left over from the previous day), add some more grounds to the ones left from the day before & brew again. Lather, rinse, repeat until Friday, when the coffee poured out like weak (but totally black) maple syrup & left you wired for sound enough to cover the weekend. Oh, that was good stuff!

Now I'd pay $5.00 bucks for a cup of that joe
The worst thing that I cannot break my wife of is the crazy idea that coffee cups are suppose to be washed.
If I set a coffee cup down, she washes it. Can't get any "seasoning" that way. Like a good frying pan.
