Think about what has happened in the past..............
The U.S. navy aren't no fools!
First you have a Chinese sub surface within the Nimitz naval Battle group.
Now, you have a Russian bombers flying missions over that same group?
I call these exercises. They're both exercises for both the U.S. and China/Russia!!
For the Chinese sub that was confronted by the U.S. navy.........why did the Chinese sub surface???
If it was so quiet and so stealth, the sub would have not put itself in such danger by surfacing....
My opinion..........The U.S. fleet knew it was there, and the Chinese knew it too!! But by surfacing the Chinese could state that they got that close to a U.S. battle fleet by accident at first, but later," IN STATE CONTROLLED CHINESE PAPERS", say that China is becoming so powerful that it can sneak a Chinese Sub in a U.S. Battle Group," while the U.S. was using it as a hostile training exercises!
Why?? Because 1 Chinese sub could never take on an entire battle fleet!!
This supports my opinion on the Russian bombers.........

The U.S. Carriers group knew where they were, and track them from a distance. The U.S. naval defense system is the most advanced in the world, and will shoot down anything from hundreds of miles away.
Did a few bombers, or 1, mean that a whole battle group was in danger? Hell no! Unless they had a A-bomb, but we aren't at war, so I think that China, and Russia might be trying to test U.S. naval ability!!
If not.........Just think.......... if the U.S. sunk the Chinese sub...........or shot down the Russian bombers.........
The U.S. would be viewed as hostile, but instead, we are venerable!!
