Forgive my lack of familiarity with your system but with 20 years in, you would've been at least a Company Sergeant-Major in my army and hence, the Sgt-Maj title fits.

Now, this being said, I know you thought you joined a World Affairs Board with some military guys but this subject is far more important.

If you ever get your butt up to the Ottawa area, I've got 4 bottles of scotch (I think I will put aside the Oban, the Lagavullen, the Glenmorangie, and the Talasker). No way in hell will I allow a tanker NCM to outdrink an engr Officer.
