Hey, WABbits, have y'all met this classy Canuck yet? Cool guy; get to know him, and thank me for your profit.
Seriously, Colonel, I thank you. I'm passing this on to PFC
Blueskid.
Oh, an update: after arriving in Vilseck, Germany, the home of his regiment, he and his four traveling companions were divvied up into their receiving units: four to the 3rd Squadron, one to Regimental HQ.
Guess who's going to Regiment?
He's as mad as a rat in a coffee can. Here he goes and joins the ARMY, COMBAT ARMS, as a CAV SCOUT, the highest-deployment rates ANYwhere, and what happens? While his regiment is goin' 90-to-nothin' through Baghdad, HE, of ALL people, gets assigned to REGIMENT?!?!
He talked to the Sergeant Major about the horror of life in Germany (

), and I guess they took pity on him (

). He'll get orders to continue movement to Baghdad in @ 90 days. That will give him @ 6-7 months in-country. If he'd gone on time, the Army would've given him credit for the full tour, even though it would've been @ nine months' worth of the 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment's fifteen, which would've been a great deal. Now, we're not sure how they'll count it.
