Taxes: Mitt Romney claimed to have reduced taxes in Massachusetts... truth is he raised taxes by a
half-billion dollars through increased fees. "Stealth taxes", as the British call them.
Gay Rights: I don't have a problem with gays, but he said he'd be "more effective on gay rights in the Senate than Ted Kennedy." Let see that beautiful bean footage roll in the Democrats' ads.
Gun Control: He supported the assault weapons ban.

When questioned on his anti-gun rights policy when considering the presidency he did an about face and joined the NRA in
August 2006. The Democrat who ran against him for governor of Massachusetts was given a better grade by the NRA than Mitt Romney received, and he had the gall to claim an NRA endorsement in 2002 when none was given.

Abortion: I don't particularly care about abortion, but he had an "awakening" regarding that too. Kind of like Norm Coleman, "I'm a Paul Wellstone Democrat."

Family Values: He claims to support family values, but had no problem with raking in tens of millions in porno pay-per-view revenues while chairman at Marriott Hotels. I stayed at a Marriott... even the previews are extremely explicit.
Economy: - Manufacturing employment dropped 14% while Mitt Romney was governor of MA.
- 222,000 people migrated from Massachusetts during his term. (US Census Bureau)
- Massachusetts was 3rd lowest in the nation in creating new jobs during his term. (2nd lowest excluding LA)
- Employment dropped by 8500 from 2002-2006, the only state to see a decline.
