For one that story above is loaded with misgivings. Had many people died in Gitmo many many more heads would have rolled since the embarrassing pictures were released. How many died because of their own health reasonings if any have died which questions the truth of the article above.

1) How can you apply the Genevia conventions to these prisoners. They wear no uniform, follow no particular countries government etc etc. Kill women, children the old, young etc and you want to hand them rights? There victims had rights as well but they didnt seem to mind taking their rights and their lives to match.

Read the Geneva convention first and understand exactly what it says.

2) Standards of deciency? Show me where in one instance the acts these people have commited were decent in the least? So standards of deciency should apply to them? How about their victims? Oh just the U.S. since everybody wants us to be politically correct but yet dont want to do the job nor fund it. Nothing but armchair quarterbacks with no forward plays just words, saber rattleing and popularity contests. Thanks we'll pass on that one.

3) Why not have one of these criticising governments take over the prison only and fund it and use the rights they employ in their home country to try these prisoners and grant them sancuary? We the U.S. will still run the base but you can have all the spotlight you want in running the prison. I bet Gitmo stays in operation.
