If the Soviet Army with 100,000+ troops with a supporting 200,000+ Afghan Army could not do it, what makes you think that a combined force of 50,000 American and NATO deployments could do it?
And as much as you despised the European Armies, don't you think that they leaving their sectors would leave those provinces wide open for the Taliban?
